Suzanne Dovi

Associate Professor, School of Government and Public Policy

Suzanne Dovi, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona. She has written on the representation of victims in the International Criminal Court, genocide, and the hypocrisy of humanitarian interventions. Professor Dovi is a political theorist whose work focuses on representation of historically disadvantaged groups, feminism, human rights, accountability, and democratic theory.  She is working on a book project entitled “What's Missing?  Understanding Absences in Representation.”  Her work has appeared in the American Political Science Review, the Journal of Politics, Constellations, as well as the LATimes and the Washington Post.
