Liudmila Klimanova §
Liudmila Klimanova, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the MA Program in Russian Studies, and an affiliated faculty member in the SLAT (Second Language Acquisition and Technology) Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program. She also oversees the Connecting the Borderlands eTwinning Initiative that brings together students in borderland locations around the world for a productive discussion of migration, social issues, and human rights movements at geopolitical borders. Her research focuses on international virtual exchange and international team learning in higher education. Her recent project, funded by the Stevens Initiative\The Aspen Institute, investigates the causes for marginalization and underrepresentation in global virtual exchange initiatives in Central Asia.
