Virtual Showing of Burmese film to Support Democracy in Myanmar
Students and faculty of the Human Rights Practice (HRTS) Program have worked with Burmese dissident artists to organize a virtual film showing of Na Gyi’s short films for Monday November 18 at 7pm Arizona time (which is 8:30am on Tuesday November 19 in Myanmar).
Na Gyi is one of the leading filmmakers in the country and his wife Paing Phyoe Thu is one of the leading actresses. They will both join for a Q and A after the films!
Please consider joining this event and making a donation. These activists really deserve help -- they are putting their lives on the line for democracy in Myanmar.
