About Gearin Cathleen
Cathleen Gearin graduated from the University of Arizona in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology. She has since served as Program Coordinator at Pima Community College and Administrative Assistant at UCLA in the Department of Education. Cathleen is working as the Administrative Associate for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences Centers, Initiatives and Transdisciplinary Programs.
The Centers, Initiatives and Transdisciplinary Programs include the Center for Regional Food Studies, Compassion Center, Consortium on Gender-Based Violence, Food Studies Degree Program, Human Rights Practice Program, Mexico Initiatives and, most recently, Global Studies. Cathleen’s responsibilities to these centers vary, they include administrative support, academic coordination, event planning, marketing support, and other logistical tasks.
