Kayleigh Kresse

M.A. Student

I graduated in 2015 from Grinnell College with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and I hope to go to medical school in the future. In college, I became interested in the social, political, economic, and legal barriers that limit patients’ abilities to lead healthy lives in the United States. I expect this Master's program in Human Rights Practice to help develop the holistic lens I will need as a physician advocate. I hope to learn how to fight for the system, laws, and policies that allow me to provide for the needs of every individual, specifically the vulnerable populations at the heart of this program.
